Our story began in 2020 with a swipe. Je’Vada had only been on a dating app for about a week when Bilal reached out to her. Little did she know, that one match would completely change her life. After talking for a short time, they both agreed they were officially coming off the app, so Bilal asked for Vada’s Instagram to keep the conversation going… and thankfully, the DM’s never stopped.

As they got to know each other, they quickly realized how much they had in common. Their shared love for health and wellness, faith, spirituality, strong morals and values, intellectual conversations, and growth mindset created an effortless connection between them. They bonded over their desire to become the best versions of themselves through self-awareness, healing, therapy, and intentional living. Their conversations flowed naturally, filled with laughter, depth, vulnerability, and an undeniable chemistry. Then Bilal asked an important question: “Can I take you out for vegan food?” Anyone who knows Vada knows she’s a vegetarian, so the fact that he thoughtfully planned a date around that instantly stood out to her. Safe to say, points were definitely earned early.

Their first date took place at Felix Culpa–the very same restaurant where Bilal would later propose–making it a place that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. From that first dinner, everything felt easy and natural. What started as simple dates quickly turned into endless quality time, unforgettable memories, dancing to their favorite EDM artists, and a love rooted in friendship, intentionality, spiritual alignment, and genuine partnership.

Over the years, their bond continued to grow stronger through every adventure, conversation, challenge, and celebration. Together, they learned the importance of communication, grace, patience, and choosing each other daily. Through faith and commitment, they built a relationship grounded not only in love, but in peace, growth, and purpose.
Then, in December 2025, Bilal asked Vada the easiest question–and it became the quickest and most certain “yes” she’s ever given.

Now, as they prepare for this next chapter together, they are beyond excited to celebrate their love surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. Thank you for being part of such a special moment in their lives. Your love, support, and presence truly mean the world.
